Cricklade Town Football Club provides a good standard of football for all ages. We always welcome new players or members who wish to help run the club.
Cricklade Town Football Club was formed in 1897 playing Sunday Football up at the local Primary School.
Having played a lot of the early years in the Sundays Leagues and Cirencester & District Leagues, Cricklade Town Football Club moved into the Wiltshire League in the late 1980s, after a very successful campaign in the 2001 , Cricklade Town Football Club were unfortunate not to gain promotion to the Hellenic League, due to the ground criteria. A move that eventually did happen in 2005, when coming 3rd in the Wiltshire Premier.
Cricklade Youth
Cricklade Youth Football Club exists to provide and promote the playing of Football for the youth of Cricklade. We always welcome new players or adults who wish to help in coaching or managing teams.
We were the first Youth Football Club in Wilstshire to recieve the FA Charter Standard.
Each year we have tried to improve the facilities, equipment and the quality of the coaching at the Club. Each year we make certain that all our Coaches have the minimum FA Coaching qualification and the Club supports and encourages those Coaches who wish to take further FA coaching or refereeing qualifications if they wish.
